About Us

Who are we?

Zotckets is a student-led rocketry organization at the University of California, Irvine, founded by undergraduates dedicated to making high-powered rocketry accessible to everyone, meaning no prior experience required. Our mission is to open the door to hands-on engineering by providing guidance for students to design, build, and launch high-powered rockets while developing the technical and teamwork skills that drive the industry forward.

Whether you're completely new to engineering or already passionate about rockets, Zotckets offers a supportive environment where members learn and gain valuable experience. A core focus of our club is helping students work toward earning their level 1 rocketry certification, providing structured guidance, mentorship, and project opportunities that prepare members for safe and successful certification flights.

At Zotckets, we believe that rocketry should be exciting, educational, and inclusive. Our team is committed to building a community where curiosity is encouraged, skills are developed, and students can launch both rockets—and their engineering futures—skyward.
